Has anyone considered how we can build on Tim Ferriss's work in the 4 Hour Chef for rapid skill acquisition? Is there a way we can build up a database for how to acquire specific skills? I think there is and would love some feedback. I would like to introduce the "Skilly" concept and get your feedback. Skilly is website that, utilising the learning described in 4 hour chef, teaches you how to rapidly acquire new skills. The development team would spend substantial time researching the skill and how to learn it most efficiently. The output would be a direct approach on how to learn a new skill, from 0 to pro in as little time as possible. The results would be proven by the the team initially and backed up/refined through community engagement. There would be no wasted words, not a second of extra video and no bs.

We will build a community and link the skill acquisition process to targets, potentially including anti charities and leveraging competitiveness.

The site would be driven by a team that thoroughly research research extensively proven techniques for acquiring multiple specific skills.

It is essentially an evolution of everything Tim has done, eventually building the place on the net you go to learn a new skill without fear of failure.

What do people think of this idea? Would you use it to acquire new skills?
