I am new to this website and have just 'seriously' started the preps. When someone apptemps a quant test of 37 questions and score, as an example, 30 correct answers. How would you relate this to the score?

Sorry of it has been discussed before, but I didn't find an answer on a quick look.

There is no correlation between # of correct answers and score. The GMAT scores on the difficulty of the problem and the # correct. The # correct alone means nothing.

Correct.

There is no strike rate for a specific score.

Just to confirm, unfortunately true. That's the frustrating part of the GMAT - not easy to judge your performance. Actually, many completely misjudge their performance - some feel they got 700+ and they bombed it; I thought I bombed it and got 700+ - go figure....
