I have been studying GMAT for a while now. My verbal is not improving at all. I do not know where I am going wrong. I tried empowergmat. and my quant scored improved like crazy. but verbal is still very bad. so i enrolled into this 6 month e-gmat course. i did good in the quizes after every chapter. so i thought my concept is more clear now, but on my first practice test after the course, i scored 23 again! i have 1 more month left before my exam. This is going to be my 3rd and last official GMAT!.

Have you filled out a Mistake Tracker for this recent CAT? If you have, then you can feel free to email it to me and I'll be happy to analyze it for you.

Hi jeesa,

Just to clarify - you used the Quant Score Booster Study Plan (meaning that you didn't work through any of our Verbal materials)?

Hi rich,
I did study empower verbal last year. But i didn't complete the whole module though. This year, yes, just the quant score booster.

Hi jeesa,

If you are doing the E-gmat course, I would recommend that you try to implement their 3 step process thoroughly. You need some time to get used to the process, however once you get comfortable with their process, in my experience it really works. You can also use the Scholaranium to help you improve your score. It is indeed one of the best practice tools available in the market and will indeed help you improve on your weak areas.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Hey,

Take a step back and take a deep breath. Whatever mocks you've taken, maintain your scores for the verbal section in an excel segregated by each topic. For eg - Sentence Correction - Modifiers 1/3, RC Direct 10/20 etc

Analyse the sub sections in which your accuracy is very bad. Work on those sections first. All this shouldn't take you a lot of time as you're already a veteran
