I took GMAT last year and got an abysmal score of 510. Took GMAT again today and got equally bad score of 530. My Q was 39, 40(today). and V was 21, 23(today). Obviously, I need to focus on V. Today I also got pretty nervous after I got my 6th, 7th Q questions wrong on quantitative with silly mistakes, which I realized when I was on 8th question, and from there it was downhill nervousness and I completely lost track on my pacing... My pacing was really bad on both times..... any suggestions to improve my pacing other than looking at the clock frequently at the top of my screen which is how I loose focus on questions..... thanks,

Question -- is it worth it to worry about pacing before you improve your ability to answer questions correctly? Did you run out of time?

I'll send you this link -- http://www.manhattangmat.com/blog/index ... nt-part-1/ -- but really think this might be more of a 'need to focus on content' issue than a pacing issue. Your pacing is off because you are spending too much time answering questions that you otherwise need to answer more quickly.

Does that make sense?
