UCLA FEMBA:

1) How have people, events, and/or situations in your life influenced who you are today?

After self editing some highly entertaining and highly inapporirate stories, I'm stuck. Aren't we all made of the expereinces, people, situations, etc that make us who we are? For good or for bad growing up in a bar, moving colleges, etc. made me who I am. Do I mention all the poeple? How do you possibly analyze in 3 pages what made who you are?

I'm trying to use this to address both me as a person and my professional life, but I'm having a hard time finding a jumping off point.

i would just focus on 3-4 major people/events that led to turning points in your life

the question is similar to UCLA Full time question about your family, siblings, childhoold memories, etc... And you only get 2 pages to write about that one.

Pick something about your personality that you're very proud of and want to share with the adcom. Then pick 3-4 (like dabots said) specific experiences in your past that made you develop that personality trait.

That should give you your essay.
