Why is the "D" incorrect in last question ?, is it bcoz of the word "structure" in the answer options. ?

Although the difference between the two views is stated , that's not the idea of the passage. The primary purpose is that the author is advocating the new approach

4/4 correct in 7 minutes. Is the timing an issue, or I did well?

The first paragraph states why human being likes to learn and how the traditional approach of corporate is controlling its employees and hence the performance of employees is dropping.
The Second paragraph states the importance of ' learning corporation ' in order to compete/succeed/growth.

So Both the paragraphs are stating an alternate form of traditional practice and its positive side.

Hope I clear your doubt.

I am trying to improve on RC. I have shared my approach to solve RC. I would like you to go through my approach and share your feedback.

Mapping
HB - EE - Learning
Copr - Control Therefore Perf. drop
Sup. Perf req learning - opportunities - growth

Tradition view - Single Leader
Learning Corp - learn / act all level

HB- Human Being
EE- Explore and experiment
Corp - Corporations
Perf - Performance
Sup - Super
Req - Require

Summary
Human Being like to explore and experiment various things and thus they constantly learn something. Corporation tends to control employees and hence the performance of Employees drop. For growth, Corporations/Organisations require their employees to learn and expand their skill set. The Tradition view of management is that There is a single leader who will design organisation structure and set all its decision. However, In learning corporation Employees at all the level learn or act.

Q 1 - C 28 sec
Q 2 - E 40 sec
Q 3 - D 21 sec
O 4 - E 12 sec

Could you explain question 4 why the answer can't be d though there are comparisons and contrasts?

I got that wrong as well. I was trying to find out why. This is what i managed to find out so far:

The passage states the differences (Contrasts) however, the purpose is not to show the contrasts between the two methods. It is to promote the "new" view. So the ans will be "E" not "D"

Nothing is being compared or contrasted.

To contrast is to juxtapose or state, strikingly, the differences between two things.

Thoughout the whole passage the author merely argues in favour of "learning organisations" and he supports his argument by stating proposing improvements to the existing corporate structure.

Argument: current organisations do not foster human beings' "drive to explore and experiment, or thrive on learning."
