I just got my butt kicked in some SC questions and I kept getting the usage of that wrong. Where is a good place to learn how to use it correctly? Or is there an easy rule I should know?

These questions are all on here, but none of the answers explain the usage of "that." I am trying to figure out when "that" is correct and when it is not.
