Hi Jowy,
You have an interesting profile. On one hand, you are a little older for the average candidate profile at the top schools. However, your experience as a neurologist is unique, and certainly contributes to the diversity factor.
For your career goals, I agree with Stanford as a target school. However, I would feel more comfortable with your application with a higher GMAT score. That, coupled with your age, may make Stanford a little challenging. If you are keen on Stanford, there is no harm applying with well-thought reasons for your application, along with an application package that shows off your diversity to its fullest advantage. As I have mentioned before, 27-28 is the average age, and although older candidates are accepted, you have to work harder to convince the AdCom.
However, if you would like to raise your chances of getting into an MBA program this year, expanding your list of target schools to others that have a strong entrepreneurial program, and are not as focused on younger applicants as the top programs, would be a safe course of action.
