i know many lists of idioms float around the messageboards here, but it is difficult to learn them rote without actual examples. i found a website, flashcardexchange dot com that has some nice idiom flashcards with examples. you can sign up for free...there is a sign up fee for "advanced" membership that will let you print them (i dont think it is worth paying the sign up fee to be able to print them, however.) just go to the website and search for gmat idioms.

could a grammar guru shoot over to the website and give them a once over to make sure they are grammatically sound. i would hate for any gmatters to waste time studying bad material.
