Given: \(\frac{1}{x} = \sqrt{0.25}\)

Squaring on both sides, we get \(\frac{1}{x^2} = 0.25\) -> \(x^2 = \frac{1}{0.25} = \frac{100}{25} = 4\)

Therefore, x = \(\sqrt{4}\) = 2(Option C)

We can solve for x:

1/x = √0.25

1/x = 0.5

1 = 0.5x

1/0.5 = x

2 = x

Answer: C

1/x^2=25/100
1/x=1/2
x=2

Hey Abhishek009 ,

You did everything correct but the last step.

We are asked to determine x not 1/x. Hence, answer must be 2 i.e
C :)

0.25 = 1/4
^ 1/2 = sqrt(everything that is raised to this power)
(1/2)^1/2 = sqrt(1/4) = 1/2
1/x = 1/2
x=2

Given: \(\frac{1}{x} = \sqrt{0.25}\)

Question : x =?

\(\frac{1}{x^2}\) = \(\frac{25}{100}\)

\(\frac{1}{x^2}\) = \(\frac{1}{4}\)

\(x^2\)= 4

x =\(\sqrt{4}\)

x = 2
