If 2/a + 3/a + 4/a is an integer, which of the following must also be an integer?

A. 12/a
B. 3/a
C. 6/a
D. 9/a
E. 15/a

If 2/a + 3/a + 4/a; then (2+3+4)/a is also integer.

i.e. 9/a is an integer..Answer D.

Using the above property we can safely assume that the value of a = 1

Now, 2+3+4 =9

So, 9/a or 9/1 is definitely an integer !! :-D :lol:
By this logic all options are integers.
YOU Cannot Assume a to be one.
Actually you can assume it one but then all options will satisfy that.
a=> 9 is the assumption we need to make here.
