Kudos for right solutions

A. Any number of the form x.yyyyy could be represented as a number greater than or less than that by having less or more 'y' s at the end. Although me might say -1.999 is the same as -1.9999 for convenience' sake, they're not the same. They would be -1.9990 and -1.9999. Going by that logic, -1.99999999999 (11 9s) is less than -1.9999999999 (10 9s), therefore the given range doesn't cover all possible values.

B. Eliminated on the basis of the same logic used in A.

C. If x=-1, x^3 will be less than 0.

D If x=10.01, x^2 will be greater than 100.

E. The range of "-2< x <11" falls within the range of "-100<x<20" for whatever value of x. That is, if x satisfies the range -2<x<11, it will satisfy the range -100<x<20.

I hope the explanation is clear.

-100<-2<x<11<20.

-2<x<11 is given....Therefore any number that satisfied the given condition will satisfy -100<x<20.
