If we factorise 32 it can be written as 2^2.2^3
So x = 2 and y = 3
Therefore x+y = 5

Let’s simplify the given equation:

(2^x)(2^y) = 32

2^(x+y) = 2^5

x + y = 5

=====

2^x.2^y= 32
2x2y=2^5

2^(x+y)= 2^5
x+y=5
