If a and b are integers and a is even, what is the value of a â€“ b?

(1) a < 3

(2) a/b = 2/7

You have to know both a and b to calculate a-b.

1) Insufficient.

2) 7a=2b. Insufficient. Many possible values for a and b.

Both - Insufficient.

a=2 b=7 (a-b) = -5.
a=-2 b=7 (a-b)=5
