A) No Profit No loss.
B) Profit of $120 C) Loss of$ 120
D) Profit of $100 E) Loss of$ 100

Explanation:
S.P of 1st Article: 1200
Profit is 20%
Let, C.P=X
1.2X=1200
X=1000
S.P of 2nd Article:1200
Loss is 20%
C.P= 0.8X=1200
X=1200/0.8=1500
Total C.P= 1500+1000 = 2500
Total S.P=1200+1200 = 2400
Total Loss= 2500-2400=100$IMO-E Please Give Kudos, If you find my explanation Good Enough Veritas Prep GMAT Instructor Joined: 16 Oct 2010 Posts: 9998 Location: Pune, India Re: If a man sells 2 articles in$1200 each  [#permalink]
