we are looking for value of $$\frac{3(k+m)+4k}{2k + m}$$

Statement 1: k + m = 9. This one won't help as denominator is 2k + m.

Statement 2 : k = 2m . We can substitute the the value k in the term. Don't worry about m as it must on both numerator and denominator. Sufficient.

The best answer is B.
