1) r is a remainder of (2^k)/3
2) r is a remainder of (3^k)/2

From I if k = 2 remainder = 1 if k = 3 remainder = 2 not suff

Fom II K = any value the result is odd so the remainder is always 1

from 1 the remainder would have variable values. So not sufficient

But from 2 the remainder is always 1.

I goofed up on this one

Instead of using power, I started using multiples of 2.

Even simple questions can be tricky sometimes

The remainder from statement 2 is always 1 hence B
