l + t = 4

l + t + 2t = 9

4 + 2t = 9

2t = 5

t = $$\frac{5}{2}$$

l = $$\frac{3}{2}$$

l + 2t = $$\frac{3}{2} + 2 * \frac{5}{2}$$

= $$\frac{13}{2}$$

OPTION: A

solve for $$l + t = 4$$ and $$l + 3t = 9$$
l=3/2 and t= 5/2
so $$l + 2t$$

Adding both the equation, we have 2l+4t=13
Dividing by 2,
We get l+2t=13/2
