If $$n$$ is a positive integer, is $$n - 3$$ a prime number?

(1) $$n$$ is not a prime number.

(2) $$8 ≥ n ≥ 4$$

(1) if n = 9 (not a prime number)

9-3 = 6 not a prime number

Not Sufficient.

(2)
4-3 = 1 not a prime number
5-3 =2
6-3 = 3
7-3 = 4 not a prime number
8-3 = 5

Not Sufficient

(1)+(2)
4-3 = 1 n-3 not a prime number
6-3 = 3
8-3 = 5
