(1) n^3 is a perfect square
It means n is in the form of N^2. Not sufficient
(2)n^3 = n
here n(n^2-1) = 0, n =0, -1, +1. Not sufficient.
Combining Statement 1 &2, we get n can be 0 or 1. So not sufficient.

Statement (1): Both n=1 and n=4 satisfy this statement. This statement alone is not
sufficient.
Statement (2): Since n is an integer, the only solutions for n are n= -1,0,1 . This
statement alone is not sufficient.
Statements (1) & (2): Since n^3 is a perfect square, and perfect squares are positive integers, we
must have that n is positive. The only positive solution that satisfies is n^3=n is n=1 . Thus, we
have a definitive answer to the question. The statements together are sufficient.
The correct answer is Choice (C)
