Statement 1: p is a three digit number
@p=100, p^3 = 1000000 i.e. 7 digits
@p=900, p^3 = 81000000 i.e. 8 digits

NOT SUFFICIENT

Statement 2: p^2 is a five digit number.
@p=100, p^2 = 10000 and p^3 = 1000000 i.e. 7 digits
@p=300, p^2 = 90000 and p^3 = 27000000 i.e. 8 digits

NOT SUFFICIENT

Combining the two statements
@p=100, p^2 = 10000 and p^3 = 1000000 i.e. 7 digits
@p=300, p^2 = 90000 and p^3 = 27000000 i.e. 8 digits

NOT SUFFICIENT

Answer: Option E
