If r = 199,999 and s = 991,999, which of the following is the units digit of r^2 + s^3?

A. 0
B. 1
C. 3
D. 9
E. 7

IMO cyclicity of 9 =2
1+9 = 0 A is the answer

Using cyclicity rule of number 9

$$199,999^2$$ will have units digit as 1

$$991,999^3$$ will have units digit as 9

Thus $$r^2$$ + $$s^3$$ = 1 + 9 = 0
