A. attracts less of a readership than he did in the eighteenth century - Wrong pronoun - Subject is - Swift's Gulliver's Travel
B. attracts less readers than the eighteenth century did - readers countable - So use of "less" is wrong
C. attracts fewer readers than it did in the eighteenth century - Correct
D. attracts fewer readers than he did in the eighteenth century
E. attracts less reading than it did in the eighteenth century
