If the speed of x meters per second is equivalent to the speed of y kilometers per hour, what is y in terms of x? (1 kilometer = 1,000 meters)

Converting m to km and sec to hr

x m/s ->(x/1000) / (60*60)
= (x*60*60) /1000
= 18x/5

1m = 1/1000km
1sec = 1/3600hr

1/1000km per 1/3600hr

multiply both sides by 3600
