(n-1)n/2 = s

2s = n^2 -n = sum of even

Edited after revising my books for the sum of the first n even and n odd positive intigers

even = n^2 -n

odd = n^2

One more for C.

If n=5 then S=15 and first 5 even integers is 30 so 2(s).
