If the total price of 50 equally priced widgets is p, what is the price of each widget?

(1) If the price of each widget was \$1 more, then the total price would be \$50 greater.
(2) If the price of each widget doubled, then the total price of the 50 widgets would rise by \$300.

each widget price = p/50

(1) (p/50 + 1) * 50 = p + 50..no new information..not suffcient

(2) (2p/50) * 50 = p + 300

p = 300

sufficient
