from the area -> length of bcd = 6, draw perpendicular from b cut DC at H. BH=6*sqrt(3)/2
Use pythagorean theorem on BHA -> HA, minus 3 (DH) u know AD. From there find the area...
sorry i'm lazy to calculate, i think this can help u
