\(\sqrt{0.49x^{16}}\) = \(\sqrt{49/100}*x^8\) = \(\frac{7}{10}*x^8\) = \(0.7x^8\)

D is the answer.

√0.49x^16 = 0.7* x^8

( 0.7*0.7=0.49 & since x appears 16 times or rather is multiplied 16 times taking the square root of those 16 X'es will give us half of it i.e 8)

Please give kudos if you liked my explanation.
