Note: when we square a fraction , The fraction becomes smaller and when we square root the fraction it becomes larger.

All the x , y , z have fraction 0.888.

Thus , y is the largest , x is larger and z is lowest.

another way of doing it is to square every number:

so x^2=(0.888)^2
y^2= 0.888
z^2=(0.888)^4

Since squaring a decimal value that is between 0 and 1 makes it smaller and since taking the square root of such a decimal makes it larger, we have:

z < x < y
