\(x^2\) =\(\sqrt{3}\)

\(x^8\) = \(x^2 * x^2 *x^2 * x^2\)

=>\(\sqrt{3} * \sqrt{3} * \sqrt{3} * \sqrt{3}\)

=> 9

==> From \(x^8=(x^2)^4=(√3)^4=9\), the answer is E.

\(x^2=√3\)
\(x^4=3\)
\(x^8=3^2 = 9\)

or you can do it directly
\(x^8 = (x^2)^4 = (√3)^4 = 9\)

We are given that x^2 = 3^(½)

Thus, x^8 is:

(x^2)^4 = (3^½)^4

x^8 = 3^2 = 9
