IMO B

Factoring the equation gives roots as -4 and -1

Since X<-3, the root is -4

solve
$$x^2 + 5x + 12 = 8$$
we get x= -4,-1
so $$x + 2$$
-2 ,-3
since x<-3
so IMO B
