If x and y are positive integers, is x an even integer?
(1) x(y+5) is an even integer
(2) 6*y^2+41y+25 is an even integer

from one

either x even and y anything or x odd and y odd too

from two

6y^2 is even

thus sure ( 41y+25) is even thus sure y is odd

no info about x .....insuff

both together

insuff my answer is E
