If x and y are prime numbers, then which one of the following cannot equal x – y ?

(A) 1
(B) 2
(C) 13
(D) 14
(E) 20

Check each options;
3 - 2 = 1
5 - 3 = 2
37 - 23 = 14
43 - 23 = 20

Only option left is 13. Therefore x - y cannot equal 13. Answer C...
