To maximize the above ,you have to minimize (-7x+11) as much as possible
The minimum you can get is when x=2 ,we have (-7(2)+11) = 3
.: -|3| = -3
Answer E

Modulus of any value is always non negative
for -| -7x+11| which is -ve to be maximum, we have to minimize the absolute value of -7x+11
For min. absolute value, -7x+11 = 0
i.e. x = 11/7 = 1.57
But since x is an integer so we need closest integer value of 1.57 which is 2
x = 2, -7x+11 = -3
i.e. Max. -| -7x+11| = -|-3| = -3
Answer: Option E
