Let x = 1/4; y = 1/8 --> x/y = 2

A. both x and y are integers --> Incorrect
B. x is an integer --> Incorrect
C. either x or y is negative --> Incorrect
D. y / x is an integer --> Incorrect
E. x = ny where n is an integer --> 1/4 = 2*(1/8) --> Correct

only option 'E' satisfies the condition.
