I feel like I am walking into a trap but I need to work on these types of problems. Here is what I got...

D

lets take the original 2's out for now and just deal with the exponents. We can do this because both original numbers are the same.

x^2+2xy+y^2 / x^2-2xy+y^2

x^2+2xy+y^2-x^2-2xy-y^2

Reduced it's 4xy

Bring the 2 back

2^4xy

2^4

16

Am I correct or have the exponents got me again?
