The solution of the above escapes me, as I know the answer, but I would like to know howg to solve it.

The 'z' is of no conseque, but there should be two solutions, one being x and y are two real numbers.

Sorry for my ambiguity. Z is just the same product of these equations. I have been told, that there to solutions, one of which are two real numbers e.g 5 and 8.

$$xy = (x + 33)(y - 29)$$ = > $$33y - 29x = 29.33$$. It is a line and will have infinite solutions.
