If y is the smallest positive integer such that 3,150 multiplied by y is the square of an integer, then
y must be
A. 2
B. 5
C. 6
D. 7

3150*y = 9*5*14*5*y

for this term to be perfect square y should be 14

Break down 3150 into its prime factors
n^2 = 2,3,3,5,5,7 times y
To make this a perfect suquare you need one for 2 and a 7, which is 14 (2x7). Therefore y must be 14
