Hi all,
Almost always all the candidates and the companies that prepare to the GMAT focus on the importance of
the official guide.
Is that because the
OG questions are all real retirees GMAT questions or because - in addition to the latter - the real GMAT exam asks some questions that has been taken from the
OG? Moreover, do the GMAT exam questions resemble to those of the
OG 13 in a way or another?
And what about the official guides verbal review and the quant review? Is it a good idea to do the questions in both at the same time we do resolve those of the
OG 13th edition or do we take them once we are done with the
OG 13th questions ?
Many thanks for your help on that !
Yes, the
OG is critical for realistic questions. GMAC folks are constantly working on new questions and testing them as "experimental questions" on real test takers. But
OG and GMATPrep are the most realistic type questions you can study from -- so you should treat these as your primary source for practice. Use the verbal and quant review books as supplemental resources AFTER you've gone through
OG. Then, of course, go back to
OG and test yourself yet again.
Make sure you track your
OG responses online here - and watch video explanations:
