In a certain company, 55% of the workers are men. If 30% of the workers are full-time employees and 60% of these are women, what percentage of the full-time workers in the company are men?

(A) 12%

(B) 40%

(C) 60%

(D) 66 2/3 %

(E) 77 7/9 %

Assume the total workers in the company to be 1000
Since, only 30% of the workers are full-time employees, the number of full-time
workers in the company will be 300.

Of this number as 60% of the workers are female, making that number 0.6*300 = 180
Hence, the total number of men in the full-time workers is 120(300-180)

Therefore, the percentage of men in the full-time workers is $$\frac{120}{300}*100$$ = 40%(Option B)

Let total number of employees be 100

Given 30% are full time --->> 30 Employees
60%(30 Employees)= Women = 18 Women Full time Emp
30 - 18 = 12 Men Full time emp

so, 40% of full time emp are Men
