Number of current administers at org = 800 * 25% = 200 .

Now this 200 represents 25% . we want it to increase to 40% .

let we have to add x employees.

\(\frac{200 + x}{800 + x}\)=\(\frac{40}{100}\)

\(\frac{100 + x}{800 + x}\)=\(\frac{2}{5}\)

1000 + 5x = 1600 + 2x

3x = 600.

x = 200.

C is the correct answer.

adminstrative employee = 800*.25 = 200
employee to be added
x+200/x+800 = 40/100
x= 200
IMO C

Current admin employees = 800*.25=200
Other than admin employees=800-200=600

The updated number of admin employees is 40% of the total number of employees.
Therefore the other employees is 60% of the total employees

So 600=60% of total employees.
Total (updated) number of employees= 1000

So no of employees to be added is 1000-800= 200 new admin employees.
