1 Billion is 1000 Million, 6.5 Billion is 6500 Million. The number of people in United States is 300 Million.

The population in the US is $$\frac{300}{6500}*100$$ = approximately 4.6%(Option D) of the world's population.

1 Billion= 1000 Million;
6.5 Billion= 6500 Million
Required percentage = $$\frac{300}{6500}$$*100= 4.6%

Kudos please if you like my explanation!
