Dear nkmungila,

I'm happy to respond.

First of all, the math here is relatively easy. The "drink all three group" is 20%. The 60% for "at least 2" includes this, so 40% drink exactly two drinks. Both of these groups, the 20% who drink exactly 3 drinks and the 40% who drink exactly 2 drinks, are included in the 90%. 90 - 20 - 40 = 30% drink exactly one drink. The sum of "exactly one" and "exactly two" is 30 + 40 = 70%. OA = (C).

Also, I will say that the grammar in the prompt is very poor. I am not convinced that the person who wrote the question had a complete understanding of the English language. On the GMAT, every single prompt in the Quant section is grammatically flawless.

Does all this make sense?
Mike

Did a kind of elimination.
90% drink at least one of three --> 60% drink AT LEAST two --> 20 % all three
90% one of three --> 90 - 60 = 30% drink only 1 --> 60-20 = 40% only two
40 + 30 = 70%
