Area of the triangle = 1/2*base*height.

Here base = Distance between (6,3) and (6,-3) => 3-(-3) = 6
Height = distance between the base (6,0) and 4,0 => 2

Area = 1/2*6*2 = 6. Hence D.

Hi TheNightKing

Just plot the three points on a coordinate plane and you will notice the following-
1. The length of the base is 6 (between points (6, 3) and (6, -3) )
2. The height of the triangle is 2.

Area of triangle= 1/2 * base * height
