In a sample of college students, 40 percent are third year students and 70 percent are not second year student, What fraction of those students who are not third year students are second year students ?

50%

out of 100 students 70 are not second year so 30 are then
But 40 are third year students. 60 must not be third year students then
So out of 60 30 are second year students
30/60 = 50%
