let total be 100
study science = 40
do not study science =60
special classes(among those who study science) =24
also
total number of students who go for special classes =30
students who do not study science and go for extra classes =6 = 6%

Dear Moderator,
May be I am missing something, But isn't the percentage coming to 10%?

Let total students be 100, then 40 science and 60 Non Science .
Among Science 24 take Special classes. Total students taking special classes is 30. So remaining 6 , must be from Non Science. So percentage of students who go to special classes from Non science is 6/60 * 100= 10% .
Please let me know if I am making a mistake anywhere. Thank you.
