(B) rice has protein of higher quality than that in

(D) rice protein is higher in quality than it is in

I go with B. 'than that in wheat' compares the quality of the protein in rice and wheat.

A, C and D are out because they have wrong subject. the subject should be rice. so left with B and E.E is incorrect because a protine is not a correct expression and even the comparision is also not correct.....

so left with B.
