I do not know how to make venn diagrams here,
however let only science=s
and only GK=g

total=100

total=s+g-both s&g
Now,s+g=70 (as per question)

100=70-both s&g
==>both s&g=30

Now,out of 50 students who gave s, 30 also gave g
so only s=50-30=20

students appeared for exactly one of the two quizzes = 70%
Students who appeared both = 100 -70 = 30%
students who appeared for science quiz = Both + Only science quiz = 50%
30%+Only science quiz = 50%
Only science quiz = 20%

students appeared for exactly one of the two quizzes = 70%
Students who appeared both = 100 -70 = 30%
students who appeared for science quiz = Both + Only science quiz = 50%
30%+Only science quiz = 50%
Only science quiz = 20%

answer is 20%
