hi guys,

i solved most of the problems in OG10. i was hoping to improve
my speed. recently, i took kaplan cat n scored miserably low .
i'm luking for tips to improving speed on gmat. appreciate if u
guys cud share how u r working on ur speed.

Don't worry about it. The Kaplan tests are a tougher for sure. I would recommend going for the OG11 as your bible.

How are you doing on the tougher questions from OG? Are you sitting with a stopwatch everytime? Make sure you do all questions under time pressure. With math, over time, you're bound to improve timing as you try a wider variety of problems. For verbal, what exactly takes you time, reading the questions or finding the answers?

Post some specifics, there are a lot of good souls here, you're bound to get some help.

i'm gud in math, but am not getting the timing right. as u said, i will time
each question n c how it goes. thanks!

I can share some of my personal experience with you. I had a fear of verbal when I started, and so focussed only on verbal initially. Being an engineer, I overestimated my math ability. Now what I find is that I'm comfortable with verbal more so than with math

I believe that with math, practice is key. However, don't just do the problems, make sure you understand the logic behind it.

Error logs are a must as well.
