St 1: As angle ABC=45 degrees angle CDF=45 degrees, too. No info about angle FDE. Therefore, this statement is insufficient.
St 2: No info about angle CDF. Insufficient

St 1 + St 2: Angle CDE=angle CDF + angle FDE =45+40=85 Sufficient
